London Institute of Banking & Finance and ADGM Academy

The Challenge
The London Institute of Banking & Finance provides outstanding professional and university education in more than 120 countries.
In 2018, the Institute developed a new partnership in Abu Dhabi, focused on developing local Emirati talent.
The Institute became a founding partner of the new Abu Dhabi Global Market Academy (ADGMA) with a mandate to develop and deliver the banking and finance component of its professional education programmes.
Engaged to support the Academy with its technology requirements, the Institute was commissioned to create a website displaying over 140 courses which could be booked and paid for using Microsoft Dynamics. Further marketing would be possible using integrated Microsoft ClickDimensions.
The Solution
Initially, we were tasked with quickly building a microsite to flag the forthcoming launch of the Academy.
Our second task was to build the entire website using WordPress, a bespoke connector to the payment provider (Cybersource), and a bespoke integation between MS Dynamics, the booking system and the course database.
Everything was in place in time for the launch of the Academy, which was attended by the UAE President, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and the United Kingdom Ambassador, HE Philip Parnham.
The Outcome
The Academy was a new and high profile concept for the UAE and it was critical that every element of the website was in place for the launch event which was broadcast on Dubai television.
The amount of information included in the site provided an excellent showcase of the expertise available within the Academy.
With its smooth functionality, the ADGM Academy website demonstrated a focus on technology which was a core brand value of the new Academy.
