Arishi Founder Featured as Inspirational Leader

Arishi Founder & Managing Director, Andrew Elia, has been featured in the Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce magazine, Inspire, as an inspirational leader.

The article takes a very personal approach to Andrew as a business leader, focusing on his growth from a seven-year-old computer programmer into a company owner with offices in the UK, Abu Dhabi and India.

In the article, Andrew encourages clients to get to know the Arishi development team. “Nobody has ever come away from that conversation without being very impressed,” he adds. His talented team has the “ability to accelerate its learning at an incredible rate that is unique to us”.

“What we have tried to do from day one is to empower the team,” he said. “I always show respect to our team and I’m loyal to them. They take a pride in their work and love what they do.”

His leadership style is collaborative; he adds: “They are often my eyes and ears and see what I don’t see.” Andrew said he looks for people’s potential rather than a finished package when he recruits. “I’m a massive advocate for rough diamonds,” he said. “Someone suggested I have a chat with a guy who had dropped out of uni and was working in a pizza restaurant. He had an incredible ability with software. He could learn the technology we used very rapidly. He also had a real sincerity about him, and clients loved him.”

A member of the Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce for four years, Arishi appreciates the support that it has consistently received.
